March 17th – 19th — With events like Fisherman’s Tapas, Micro-Micro Beer Fest, Triple “D” Happy Hour Tour, and a Dinner & a Movie your sure to have something to do everyday of Taste of the Beach 2016.
Bri Strong Fundraiser a huge success!!
Over $7,500 was raised on Sunday for the Bri Bri Foundation!!! As Brianna Blumenthal’s father Scotty and the whole OBX community seek to deal with the aftermath of her tragic death in a bike collision in a crosswalk on Thanksgiving week, there was a family friendly benefit here this Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. Five wonderful bands, including student musicians, played on stage throughout the afternoon. There was a photo booth, an extensive silent auction, helmet decorating as well as mural painting for the kids in the backyard. The mural created will be put on permanent display at Aviation Park behind the Rec Center.
