OBX Brewing Station – First Restaurant to be Named Ocean Friendly Establishment
Plastic Ocean Project has teamed up with Surfrider OBX Chapter with an initiative to recognize local businesses for their efforts in curbing the “single-use plastics” used in their establishments. Over 500 million straws, enough to fill 127 school buses, are used every day in the USA for only a few minutes. Eventually, most of these straws end up in our oceans. So please skip the straw!

OBX Brewtag 2016 – Sat, Oct 22
At OBX Brewtäg, contestants will be competing to see who can launch and fly an empty 1/6 keg barrel the furthest at the home of flight. The cost to compete is only $25, and the sky is the limit as to how creative your homemade flying contraption can be!
